DAYTON, Ohio (AP) — Dan Jacob rushed for 155 yards and two touchdowns and Connor Kacsor added 124 yards and two scores as Dayton cruised to a 45-0 victory over winless Valparaiso on Saturday.

Rob Washington also had two touchdowns on 75 yards rushing for Dayton (4-4, 3-2 Pioneer Football League), which won its third straight game.

After the Flyers stormed to a 31-0 lead with 7:40 to go in the first half, Jacob and Kacsor broke away for long TD runs in the second — Jacob for 83 yards and Kacsor for 77. The pair combined for only 19 carries in the game.

Dayton rolled up 473 yards on the ground, compared to just 76 for the Crusaders (0-7, 0-4). Dayton finished with 631 total yards, the most since it became a non-scholarship program in 1977, with Valparaiso amassing only 164.

The Flyers never let the Crusaders get past the Dayton 38-yard line.
