MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. (AP) — Jeff Sinclair threw two touchdown passes to Donte Jeter as Robert Morris rallied in the second half and withstood Central Connecticut State’s last-minute drive for a 37-31 win Saturday in Northeast Conference play.

The Colonials (2-5, 1-3) led 23-14 on Sinclair’s 57-yard touchdown strike to Jeter in the third quarter. CCSU’s Rob Holloman, who rushed for 208 yards, returned the ensuing kickoff 96 yards for a touchdown.

Blue Devils’ quarterback Andrew Clements — whose 75-yard touchdown pass to Matthew Tyrell in the second quarter tied it 14-14 — then hit Anthony Julbes for a 6-yard touchdown. A field goal put CCSU (1-6, 1-3) up 31-23 with 10:19 left.

Sinclair found Jeter for a 27-yard touchdown and Sinclair’s 2-point conversion pass to Deontae Howard tied it 31-31. Howard’s 1-yard touchdown with 1:50 left won it, although CCSU reached the Colonials’ 13 before Clements threw three straight incompletions as time expired.
