Democratic U.S. Sen. Maria Cantwell and Democratic secretary of state candidate Kathleen Drew will make a Vancouver campaign stop at 5 p.m. Friday at Vancouver Firefighters Hall, 2807 N.W. Fruit Valley Road.
The event is part of Cantwell’s “Jobs for Washington” bus tour that’s stopping at 26 different locations across the state, including Bellingham, Spokane, and Yakima and Port Angeles.
Cantwell and the Democratic candidates joining her during the tour will highlight the importance of jobs for veterans, as well as encourage supporters to vote in the Nov. 6 general election.
