SEATTLE (AP) — Sean Mannion is back at quarterback for No. 7 Oregon State with a chance to lead the Beavers somewhere they’ve never been.

Whether they were the Oregon Agricultural College or now Oregon State, the Beavers have never started a season 7-0. Their chance comes on Saturday night when the Beavers (6-0, 4-0 Pac-12) face Washington, which is trying to avoid just the second four-game losing streak of Steve Sarkisian’s tenure.

Mannion is back after missing the past two weeks following minor surgery on his left knee. He could have played in last week’s win over Utah, but coach Mike Riley decided to give Mannion an extra week of rest.

Washington (3-4, 1-3) is smarting after three straight losses to Oregon, USC and Arizona getting outscored 128-52 during the stretch.
