Volunteer sought for salary commission

The city of Vancouver has an opening on its five-member volunteer Salary Review Commission.
The commission establishes the salary and compensation for the mayor and city council.
Applications are due by 5 p.m. Nov. 26 to Amanda Delapena in the city manager's office at City Hall, 415 W. Sixth St.
Applicants must be city residents and registered voters. No city employee or immediate family member of a city employee may apply.
Members serve a four-year term. The next round of commission meetings will be in 2014.
