HANOVER, N.H. (AP) — Colton Chapple posted 258 all-purpose yards and Treavor Scales ran for three touchdowns as Harvard defeated Dartmouth for the ninth straight time, beating the Big Green 31-14 Saturday.

Chapple tallied 170 yards on 17 of 31 passes and added 88 rushing yards. His 16-yard touchdown run on Harvard’s opening drive gave the Crimson (6-1, 3-1 Ivy League) a 7-0 lead.

Scales then scored twice in the second quarter, one from 3 yards and another from 2 yards, to help Harvard take a 21-0 advantage at halftime.

Dartmouth (4-3, 2-2) rallied back, cutting the deficit to 21-14 behind two touchdown passes from Alex Park, but Scales’ third touchdown, another 2-yarder, sealed the win.

Scales finished with 89 yards on 21 carries. It was his third multi-touchdown rushing effort of the season.

Park threw for 304 yards and completed 23 of 38 passes but Dartmouth managed just 15 rushing yards.
