EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. (AP) — New York Jets linebacker Bart Scott is not active for the team’s game against the Miami Dolphins because of a toe injury, ending his streak of consecutive games played at 119.

Scott has a hyperextended big toe on his right foot that has bothered him since the third game of the season. He didn’t practice all week after playing just nine defensive snaps against the New England Patriots last Sunday.

Scott, whose streak dates to 2004 with Baltimore, is being replaced by rookie Demario Davis.

Jets running back-kick returner Joe McKnight (sprained ankle) and nose tackle Sione Po’uha (lower back) are active.

Miami cornerback Richard Marshall had previously been ruled out of his third straight game with a back injury.
