NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — The Indianapolis Colts have deactivated linebacker Robert Mathis against the Tennessee Titans, though running back Donald Brown is active.

Both Mathis and Brown had been a game-time decision Sunday, but Mathis will miss his third straight game with a sprained left knee. Brown is active, but rookie Vick Ballard gets the start at running back. Moala (knee) and cornerback Darius Butler (shoulder) already had been declared out.

The Titans also had declared left tackle Michael Roos out, along with quarterback Jake Locker. Roos had an appendectomy Monday, and this ends his consecutive starts streak at 119. Mike Otto will make his season debut starting at left tackle.

Tennessee also deactivated linebacker Will Witherspoon (hamstring).
