Clayton Frank, Columbia River
Clayton Frank of Columbia River was voted The Columbian’s football player of the week in a vote by fans on Facebook.
Frank collected 35 percent of the 882 votes cast by fans. Skyview’s Gianni Carbone had 29 percent for second place.
Frank rushed for 131 yards on 12 carries and one touchdown and passed for 173 yards and another TD as River clinched the 3A GSHL title.Other nominees for Week 9 included Camas’ Nate Beasley, Evergreen’s Justin Straup and Fort Vancouver’s Gaquan White.
