Applicants needed for airport noise group

The city of Vancouver is seeking applicants to fill one vacancy on the Portland International Airport Citizen Noise Advisory Committee.
Applicants must reside within the city limits. The 15-member committee has two positions appointed by the Vancouver City Council.
The committee generally meets the second Thursday of each month, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Port Administration Building in Portland.
Two meetings a year are in Vancouver.

The advisory committee serves as the official forum for residents to address noise concerns, among other duties.
