Battle Ground -- It was "Serving up Smiles" day in Battle Ground Public Schools on Oct. 19, the last day of National School Lunch Week. School board members, principals and city officials were guest servers throughout the district, which contracts with Sodexo Nutrition Services for school meals. Mayor Lisa Walters visited Tukes Valley Primary School and Police Chief Bob Richardson visited Maple Grove K-8 School.
