Esther Short group celebrates 20 years

Esther Short -- The Esther Short Neighborhood Association celebrated its 20th anniversary on Oct. 17 at the Hilton Vancouver Washington. Mayor Tim Leavitt thanked residents for their dedication in making Esther Short a great place to live. West Precinct District 1 Neighborhood Police Officer Cpl. Drue Russell talked about how residents and the Vancouver Police Department are working together to make Esther Short a safe neighborhood. Then, birthday cake was served to all, said Paula Person, president of the neighborhood association.
