Vancouver man beaten in California still critical

A Vancouver man remained in critical condition Wednesday evening at Enloe Medical Center after he was seriously injured Sunday in Chico, Calif.
Tyler Burton, 21, was knocked to the pavement after being punched in the face by someone he accidentally bumped into, according to a Chico, Calif., Police Department bulletin. He was unconscious and had “significant head trauma.” Burton is a 2010 graduate of Mountain View High School, where he played football.
