People in business

• Rekah Strong, Clark County’s chief diversity and inclusion officer, has been appointed to the Clark College Board of Trustees by Gov. Chris Gregoire. A Camas resident, Strong attended Clark College and transferred to Portland State University, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice and a master’s degree in social work. She is pursing a doctorate degree in social work at Portland State.

• Mark Stevens has joined the engineering team at Delta Computer Systems Inc., based in Battle Ground. Stevens joined Delta in April and has assumed responsibility for continued development of Delta’s RMCTools’ software as a control software development engineer. A Linfield College graduate, Stevens has more than 25 years of experience designing, developing and supporting software systems.

New business

Husband-and-wife business owners Mike and Anka Davis have opened Rail Side Brewing in Washougal. The brewery is at 421 C St. in Unit 1B, north of state Highway 14. The brewery makes several varieties of beer and also offers pizza, hot sandwiches and soups. Hours: 5 to 10 p.m. Wednesdays and Thursdays; and 3:30 to 10 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays.
