Fircrest — The Friends of Cascade Park Community Library hosted a public celebration at the library Aug. 25 to mark the completion of courtyard landscaping. The group raised money through book and engraved-brick sales to provide courtyard seating and lighting at the library, which opened in December 2009. The bricks are now incorporated into the courtyard paving. The courtyard is adjacent to the children's area of the library and is open to library users most days during regular library hours.
