Fred Meyer jeweler wins donation for Rocksolid Teen Center
Brush Prairie: Don Martel, manager of the Fred Meyer Jewelers store in Battle Ground, won a $500 donation from his employer for Rocksolid Teen Center.

Brush Prairie — Don Martel, manager of the Fred Meyer Jewelers store in Battle Ground, spends most of his Monday afternoons at the Rocksolid Community Teen Center. Rocksolid provides a safe environment for teens after school. Martel is president of the board of directors. Each year his employer, Kroger Company, recognizes 10 outstanding employees nationwide who donate time to improve their communities; this year, Martel is a local winner. Kroger donated $500 to Rocksolid in his honor.
