COLUMBIA, Mo. (AP) — Seventh-ranked Georgia is expected to be without three of its top defensive players for the Southeastern Conference opener against Missouri.

Coach Mark Richt hasn’t discussed the status of All-America safety Bacarri Rambo and linebacker Alec Ogletree, who didn’t play last week, but ESPN reports that both remain suspended for Saturday’s game. Georgia officials haven’t commented.

Rambo’s high school coach said in the spring that he expected to receive a four-game suspension after a second positive test for marijuana, per school policy. Ogletree is reportedly being punished for violating team rules.

Georgia (1-0) is also without starting cornerback Sanders Commings, who received a two-game suspension following his January arrest on a domestic violence charge. In addition, backup linebacker Chase Vasser was suspended for the first two games following a DUI arrest.
