DETROIT (AP) — Lions cornerback Chris Houston is inactive for Sunday’s game against the St. Louis Rams.

Houston was listed as doubtful earlier in the week with a left ankle injury. Lions safety Louis Delmas — another likely starter when healthy — also is out while recovering from left knee surgery.

St. Louis defensive tackle Michael Brockers, a first-round draft pick this year, is out with a right ankle injury.

Detroit quarterback Kellen Moore, linebacker Tahir Whitehead, wide receiver Ryan Broyles and tackles Jason Fox and Corey Hilliard are also inactive.

The Rams will be without safety Darian Stewart, running back Terrance Ganaway, tackle Ty Nsekhe, guard Shelley Smith and defensive tackles Matthew Conrath and Darell Scott.
