Papa Murphy’s, the Vancouver-based leader in take-home pizza, is continuing its expansion, this time into the Middle East.

The company has signed an agreement with MAM Foodco LLC, based in the United Arab Emirates, which expects to open 100 stores throughout the Gulf Cooperation Council, a union of Arab states bordering the Persian Gulf that include Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates. The first of the new stores is expected to open this year in the city of Dubai in the United Arab Emirates.

It will be Papa Murphy’s first location outside of North America, where the company operates 1,287 franchise stores in the United States and 15 in Canada.
