Clark County and the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration are sponsoring a medication take-back event this month.

Unwanted medications can be dropped off from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 29, at C-Tran’s Fisher’s Landing Transit Center, 3510 S.E. 164th Ave.

Burgerville is providing “buy one, get one free” milkshake coupons to the first 200 people who bring unwanted medication. The coupons can be redeemed at the Fisher’s Landing Burgerville, 16416 S.E. McGillivray Blvd.

A similar event at Clark College in April collected more than 800 pounds of unwanted medications.
