Letter: Declare attack as act of war

The Columbian
Published: September 15, 2012, 5:00pm

Where is President Obama’s outrage after the killing of diplomats in Libya and destruction of the U.S. Embassy in Egypt? Where is his leadership? He has done little more than speak with his soft-soap rhetoric about what these countries did to American citizens. He should have declared that these acts were, in fact, acts of war.

Why has Obama not immediately stopped our foreign aid to these countries? Of course, the Democrats’ response is that it will hurt the people. What?

It disgusts me that my tax dollars go to these countries yet little filters down to the “people.”

This president cannot fit into his so-called schedule to meet with the leader of Israel but has time to be on the “David Letterman Show.” Wake up voters and see through this so-called “transparent” president.
