The Port of Woodland is seeking input on where to build its new boat launch, and is inviting the public to a Sept. 27 open house.

The open house will take place from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Woodland High School commons, 757 Park St. The port is conducting a feasibility study on whether to build a new boat launch facility at Austin Point or Martin’s Bar.

The port’s executive director, Nelson Holmberg, and the project’s consulting team will be at the open house to present preliminary plans and answer questions from the public. They will also take into consideration feedback from attendees.

A second open house will take place at an undetermined date to present findings from the first open house.
