Medication disposal set for Sept. 29

Clark County residents can safely dispose of medications no longer needed during a free collection event from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sept. 29 at the Fisher’s Landing Transit Center, 3510 S.E. 164th Ave.

The collection is sponsored by the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration, Clark County Sheriff’s Office and Clark County Department of Environmental Services, in partnership with C-Tran and PREVENT! The Substance Abuse Prevention Coalition of Clark County.

Unused medications should not be flushed down the toilet or dumped down the drain.
