Investigators are still looking into what caused the five-alarm fire that destroyed the vacant Thunderbird on the River hotel in Jantzen Beach.
Local personnel with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives and Portland Fire & Rescue officials are processing data and interviewing people, said Lt. Joseph Troncoso, a spokesman for Portland Fire & Rescue.
“There’s really not a whole lot new (to report),” he said, adding the investigation is still a top priority.
