TROUT LAKE — The Forest Service announced Friday that access to the Mount Adams Wilderness in the Gifford Pinchot National Forest is closed due to the Cascade Creek fire.

The Pacific Crest National Scenic Trail is closed from the Williams Mine to Potato Hill trailheads, according to Ken Sandusky of the Gifford Pinchot office in Vancouver.
