Letter: Battle Ground schools applauded

I was thrilled to read the Sept. 14 news brief, "B.G. refinances bonds; taxpayers to save $5M," which reported that Battle Ground Public Schools was able to refinance its bonds at a significant savings to property owners. I have seen how careful the Battle Ground district is with supplies and materials at my child's school. This bond refinance is yet another way Battle Ground Public Schools is being frugal with our funds. Thank you to the great minds who thought of doing this and to all the people who actually made it happen.
