TCU in same category with Virginia 3 years later

FORT WORTH, Texas (AP) — TCU is in the same category as Virginia three years after their last meeting.

Games against ACC teams such as Virginia used to provide an opportunity for the Horned Frogs to prove themselves against the big boys. And they usually did, like that 2009 win at the Cavaliers.

Now with Virginia heading to TCU for the first time Saturday, the 17th-ranked Frogs are a Big 12 newcomer. And they have won 10 games in a row after a winning conference debut last week.

Running back Matthew Tucker says the Frogs (2-0) have to be the same by playing hard and physical.

TCU is coming off a 20-6 win at Kansas, when the Frogs overcame four fumbles, three inside the 20. The Cavaliers (2-1) lost 56-20 at Georgia Tech.
