WORCESTER, Mass. (AP) — Riley Lyons’s 31-yard field goal with 1 second remaining, following a Holy Cross fumble, lifted Dartmouth to a 13-10 victory Saturday.

With 11 seconds left in a scoreless second half, Vernon Harris recovered a fumble by Sam Auffant, putting the Big Green (2-0) at the 31 of Holy Cross (0-3).

Alex Park’s 17-yard pass to Ryan McManus set up Lyons’ kick.

Holy Cross took a 10-0 first-quarter lead, getting a 1-yard touchdown run from Eddie Houghton at the end of a 59-yard drive, the longest of the game. John Macomber added a 46-yard field goal.

Dartmouth, whose five-game win streak is its longest since 1997, got a 3-yard scoring run by Dominick Pierre and a 34-yard Lyons field goal in the second quarter.

Sophomore quarterback Ryan Laughlin, making his first start for Holy Cross, which lost Kevin Watson with a knee injury last week, was 21-of-30 for 106 yards.
