Letter: Nation headed in wrong direction

I read Maynard Mohn’s Sept. 11 letter, “GOP job performance is a disgrace,” with amusement. Mohn has conveniently forgotten that during President Obama’s first two years in office, the Democrats had control of the executive branch and both houses of Congress. Rather than pass legislation to put our country back on a path to fiscal responsibility, he spent like a madman and passed that ridiculous Obamacare.

Voters could see he was headed in the wrong direction and voted to make a change in the House. Let’s hope they will vote in November to get rid of Obama.
