KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia (AP) — Second-seeded Juan Monaco of Argentina lost his serve three times before beating Taiwanese wild card Jimmy Wang 6-4, 7-5 Thursday to reach the Malaysian Open quarterfinals.
Monaco, who broke Wang five times in his tournament debut after a first-round bye, is chasing his fourth title of the year after winning in Vina del Mar, Houston and Hamburg.
