Toledo 60, Seton Catholic 13

Another loss for the young Cougars, but there were signs of improvement.

Seton Catholic took the opening kickoff and drove into Toledo territory, where the Cougars attempted a 43-yard field goal, which was blocked.

But the Cougars recovered the block and advanced the ball for the first down. Later in the drive, Erik Powell kicked a 28-yard field goal to give Seton its first lead of the season.

Toledo then scored 28 points in the first quarter to take command of the game.

Will Noce-Sheldon passed for 85 yards and rushed for 61. Drew Fuller rushed for 43 yards and a touchdown as the Cougars gained almost 200 yards of total offense after being held to 43 last week.
