I’ve known Monica Stonier for several years, while she’s worked at Pacific Middle School helping teachers improve, and as a cross country coach. My daughter’s report, “Ms. Stonier is awesome!” She has a nuanced understanding of the state’s constitutional “paramount duty … to make ample provision for the education of all children.” Stonier will be a fierce advocate for schools.
