MIAMI (AP) — Miami starters LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and Mario Chalmers will not play Tuesday night when the Heat host the New York Knicks.

James has hamstring tightness. Wade and Chalmers have right ankle issues. Heat coach Erik Spoelstra says the trio will be re-evaluated Wednesday.

For the Knicks, center Tyson Chandler (back) was planning to take part in the shootaround, then decide if he could play. If Chandler can go, the Knicks will start him over Kenyon Martin. Chandler has missed New York’s last 10 games.

The Knicks are bringing a league-best eight-game winning streak into the game. Miami is 29-1 in its last 30, with victories over New Orleans and San Antonio after last week’s loss in Chicago snapped what was a 27-game winning streak, the second-longest in NBA history.
