AUGUSTA, Ga. (AP) — Steve Stricker wouldn’t mind Tiger Woods returning the favor.

Stricker spent nearly an hour working on Woods’ putting at Doral, and the lesson paid immediate dividends. Woods had a superb week on the greens and has won his last two tournaments. Now if only Stricker can get Woods to show him how to win a green jacket.

The Masters is the only major in which Stricker has never been in serious contention. He was runner-up in the PGA Championship, playing in the final group at the British Open and was tied for the lead with nine holes left in a U.S. Open.

The guy known for his pure putting has never been able to figure out Augusta National. Stricker played 14 holes of practice with Woods when he arrived.
