Northwest Association for Blind Athletes gets $10,000 grant

Esther Short — The Northwest Association for Blind Athletes got a financial boost last week when it was awarded $10,000 from the Meyer Memorial Trust. The Vancouver charitable organization, which provides blind and visually impaired people with opportunities to participate in sports and other physical activities, announced it received the award April 2. The association was formed in 2007. The grant will support its general operations.
