FLORHAM PARK, N.J. (AP) — Jets general manager John Idzik says he and Darrelle Revis have had “a nice talk,” but remains mum on trade rumors involving the star cornerback.

Idzik says at a predraft news conference Wednesday that the team is “pleased” with the progress Revis is making in his recovery from a torn ligament in his left knee that sidelined him for most of last season. Idzik wouldn’t go into specifics regarding the results of an exam by team doctors.

Revis reported Monday for the first day of the team’s voluntary offseason conditioning program and was looked at by Jets doctors, a few hours after having an MRI exam with Dr. Russell Warren, the Giants’ team orthopedist, at a hospital in Manhattan. Revis was reportedly cleared by Warren to begin running without restrictions.
