I am a seventh grade student at Laurin Middle School and went through Glenwood Heights Primary. These schools are like a second home to me. I know the teachers and appreciate many things about my school.
One amazing quality is how the principal and staff care about the kids. They help us in school and strive for us to get good grades. Most importantly, they provide every opportunity for us students to succeed.
My classmates and I want to keep our district unique. Laurin is older than most schools, so it has had an impact on generations of people. If the Battle Ground levy doesn’t pass, it will break people’s hearts to think that their school might not be part of their own community anymore.
Get involved. Tell people to vote “yes” on the levy. We have a great district that deserves support.
