BRASELTON, Ga. (AP) — Scott Pruett and Memo Rojas raced to a dominant victory Saturday in the Grand Prix of Atlanta, the first Grand-Am Rolex Sports Car Series event at Road Atlanta.
The three-time defending Daytona Prototype champions won the second time this season, leading 94 of 120 laps in Chip Ganassi Racing’s No. 01 TELMEX BMW-Riley.
Ryan Dalziel and Alex Popow finished second in the No. 8 Starworks Motorsport Ford-Riley, 17.781 seconds back, followed by Alex Gurney and Jon Fogarty in the No. 99 GAINSCO Corvette DP.
