LOS ANGELES (AP) — Closing arguments are expected Wednesday in a bench trial where the ex-wife of former Los Angeles Dodgers owner Frank McCourt claims she was misled about the value of the team that was eventually sold for $2 billion.

Jamie McCourt is seeking to have her $131 million divorce settlement thrown out because she claims her ex-husband committed fraud by misrepresenting the Dodger assets as worth less than $300 million during their protracted divorce. He has denied the allegation.

The pair’s marriage was dissolved in October 2010, and less than a year later the Dodgers went into bankruptcy. Frank McCourt eventually sold the team for $2 billion to a group that included former Los Angeles Lakers star Magic Johnson.
