SALEM, Ore. — A man accused of being the lookout in a Salem ambush shooting has been charged with murder.

Police are looking for other suspects in the April 6 shooting death of a 32-year-old McMinnville man, Andrew Entizne.

Police say 21-year-old Pedro Delgado of Salem admitted that his role in the shooting was to watch and honk his horn if he saw police.

The Statesman Journal reports accomplices hid at an intersection and shot the victim multiple times as he drove up. The car crashed into a ditch.

Officers arrested Suarez on Friday on drug charges from Illinois. Suarez initially denied knowing the shooting victim, but police say he later admitted to being involved. He’s held in the Marion County Jail.
