A man was robbed just after midnight on Tuesday near Fort Vancouver Way and East McLoughlin Boulevard in Vancouver’s Central Park neighborhood, police said.

Few details about the incident were available Tuesday evening. The victim had a bag on top of his parked car and was putting something in the trunk when he was approached by two males who shoved him down, Vancouver Police Department spokeswoman Kim Kapp said. A third suspect took his bag and the group ran off toward the nearby tennis courts.

Officers dispatched to the strong-armed robbery at 12:07 a.m. canvassed the area with canines and alerted the VA Medical Center. The victim described the first suspect as a male between the ages of 17 and 24, wearing a maroon sweatshirt and jeans, Kapp said. The second suspect was described as wearing a black hoodie and black pants. Police did not find any suspects.
