Vancouver police are looking for a driver who allegedly struck a gas pump card reader with an axe at the end of March.

Officers responded to the 76 Gas Station at 6510 E. Mill Plain Blvd., on March 30. The station owner said an unknown individual damaged a gas pump card reader by striking it with an axe after their debit or credit card was rejected. The suspect vehicle appears to be an older white Dodge pickup with wood side rails on the truck bed.

Anyone with information on the pickup or anyone associated with it is asked to call Vancouver Police Officer Troy Rawlins at 360-772-2114.
