Packers take WRs, LB in 7th round

GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) — The Green Bay Packers selected Grand Valley State wide receiver Charles Johnson with the 216th pick, Maryland wide receiver Kevin Dorsey with the 224th pick and South Florida linebacker Sam Barrington with the 232nd pick in the seventh round of the NFL draft.

The Packers had three picks Saturday in a span of 17 overall selections.

Johnson, 6-foot-3, 225 pounds, had 2,229 yards receiving and 31 touchdowns during his two seasons with the Lakers. Dorsey is a 6-foot-2 receiver who had 45 catches for 573 yards and three touchdowns as a junior and followed that up with just 18 receptions for 311 yards and four scores in his senior season.

Barrington started 36 of 49 games during his career and amassed 258 tackles and 6 12 sacks.
