ASHBURN, Va. (AP) — The Washington Redskins have used a sixth-round pick in the NFL draft to take Bacarri Rambo, a talented safety whose stock fell after he failed two drug tests in college at Georgia.

The Redskins selected Rambo with the 191st overall pick on Saturday, far below the projected slot for the 6-foot, 211-pound defensive back.

Rambo was suspended for the first four games last season. His high school coach said Rambo failed a drug test after inadvertently eating marijuana-laced brownies.

Rambo’s first failed drug test was in 2011, when he was suspended from Georgia’s season opener.

Rambo had 16 career interceptions with the Bulldogs. He was the third defensive back selected this year by the Redskins, who had the third worst pass defense in the NFL last year.
