HOUSTON (AP) — The Houston Texans continued to bolster their linebacker corps Saturday in the fourth round of the NFL draft.

After selecting LSU outside linebacker Sam Montgomery in the third round with the 95th overall pick Friday, Houston selected Connecticut outside linebacker Trevardo Williams with the 124th overall pick of the draft.

Williams had 42 tackles, including 13.5 for loss and 11.5 sacks in his senior season for Connecticut, following his junior season when he had 12.5 sacks, which was good for fifth in the Football Bowl Subdivision.

Houston Texans linebackers coach Reggie Herring said Williams adds speed to the Texans’ special teams and defense.
