The Greater Oregon Chapter of March of Dimes has awarded eight grants to organizations in Oregon and Southwest Washington.

Clark County Public Health won $12,000 in continued grant funding for its Pregnancy Partners program, which promotes first trimester care and nutrition for low-income expecting mothers. That was the only grant awarded by the Oregon chapter in Washington.

Other grants went to Oregon groups such as the Multnomah County Health Department in Portland; the Malheur County Health Department in Ontario; Outside In, which helps homeless people in Portland, and the Oregon Perinatal Collaborative.

In all, $70,000 in grants were awarded. Learn more at http://OregonMOD.com
