Boy hurt in scooter-car collision in La Center

Police said a 15-year-old boy was hurt when his scooter collided with a car Saturday afternoon on West Fourth Street in downtown La Center.

Few details were released but La Center Sgt. Chris Olsen said the boy was hospitalized.
