Letter: Lost cause laid to rest

The Columbian
Published: August 3, 2013, 5:00pm

I have lived in Clark County for 63 years and have supported the Columbia River Crossing from the beginning.

I wish no harm to anyone, but I fear a future tragedy because of its demise. I understand the need for a bridge, but cannot support a study for a new one, when the last two decades provided all the information needed at a cost of $170 million taxpayers’ dollars. The CRC is dead; may it rest in peace.
