METAIRIE, La. (AP) — The New Orleans Saints have gotten their top wide receiver back on the practice field and signed a pair of wideouts to bolster an injury-riddled group.

Marques Colston returned from the physically unable to perform list Monday, and the Saints signed six-year NFL veteran Steve Breaston and re-signed rookie free agent Brent Leonard.

Colston missed the first 10 days of training camp with a foot injury.

Breaston has 255 career receptions with Arizona and Kansas City. Leonard returns to the Saints six days after being waived.

The moves come after Joseph Morgan injured his knee in Saturday’s intrasquad scrimmage.

Andy Tanner also was out Monday after injuring his shoulder Saturday.

The Saints waived kicker Jose Maltos and injured wide receiver Chris Givens to make room for Breaston and Leonard.
