Letter: Clark County closing soon?

The Columbian
Published: August 4, 2013, 5:00pm

Clark County is out of business. No new bridge, no new light rail, no new business.

We will be turning over all existing rights of the current bridge to the buses and trucks.

As the traffic increases, the people who work in Oregon and live in Washington will decide the stress and length of commuting time is not worth it. They will sell their property in Clark County and move closer to where their income is. This will result in the lowering of property values from the lack of demand.

Has anyone seen the recent pictures of Detroit? Most of the population of the county will be retired people who don’t have to commute and pay the least amount of taxes.

So, Clark County will be closing soon and for those that want to go across the river, just catch a ride on a bus or truck.
